She is a soft, sensitive and sensual girlie, who (through her poetry and handmade products) loves to tell tales of the curious coincidences, treasured moments and little trinkets she’s collected along the way.
This is her sentimental storytelling, learned from her mum who named her Destinee-Desiree. She grew up surrounded by the endearing love of a Grandmother and Aunts, who call her Destinee-Darling, Destinee-daydream, Destinee-Dew-drop. Who shared with her stories of folklore and fairytales, within these, their mystical adventures were also woven. How could she not be a dreamer?
Blessed with several ever-gentle Grandfathers (and a great-grandad), who call her 'Baby' to this day - how could she not be tender?
Little Destinee dreamed in poems and purpose long before I knew how to piece them together. Here I am now, remembering how - stitch by stitch.
Within this little shop of joy are the daydreams of delicate darling, vulnerably being shared with the world. May they be gentle reminders of our collective humanity, wonder & tenderness.
